Nadine Bullock-Pottinga, a seasoned leader in the nonprofit sector, has been appointed as the new CEO of Paradigm for Parity® (P4P), an organization dedicated to addressing the gender gap in business leadership. She is set to take up her new role on May 1, 2024.

Paradigm for Parity®, established in 2015 by a group of women executives, is at the forefront of advocating for gender parity in leadership across the globe. The coalition today includes over 150 member companies, and it strives to achieve gender parity and racial equity in corporate leadership within 15 years of a company joining the coalition.

Bullock-Pottinga brings over two decades of experience from her tenure in various leadership positions within the nonprofit sector. Before joining P4P, she significantly contributed to Hire Heroes USA as Chief Development Officer, where she focused on diversifying teams and strengthening partnerships with a special emphasis on supporting women veterans. This previous role showcases her commitment to promoting gender equity and empowerment.

Ellen Kullman, Co-Chair and Vice President of the board of directors at P4P, highlighted Bullock-Pottinga’s extensive nonprofit leadership experience and her proven track record in development as key factors that will enable the coalition to thrive under her leadership.

This leadership change comes after Sandra Quince’s tenure as CEO, who participated in the position through Bank of America’s Leader on Loan program. Quince continues her involvement with the coalition as Co-Chair and remains an engaged member of the Board of Directors as well as a spokesperson for Paradigm for Parity.

Expressing her enthusiasm about her new role, Bullock-Pottinga stated her honor in leading an organization that plays a pivotal role in driving sustainable progress toward closing the gender leadership gap. She also emphasized her eagerness to collaborate with various partners to foster initiatives that empower women and enhance diversity across different sectors.

P4P’s mission resonates more than ever today as discussions surrounding gender parity and diversity in leadership circles intensify globally. Research has consistently shown that diverse leadership leads to better performance outcomes and innovative solutions within organizations. Thus, the work of organizations like Paradigm for Parity® is crucial in making significant strides toward a more equitable professional landscape.

With Bullock-Pottinga at the helm, P4P is poised to further its impact, leveraging her vast experience and commitment to the empowerment of women in leadership roles. The coalition continues to develop and promote actionable strategies that transform corporate cultures, ensuring that women of all races, cultures, and backgrounds have equal power and opportunities to succeed in their careers.
