Highlights include express delivery within three days for fastest routes and the introduction of free returns for all first-time platform users in the US for purchases ranging from $10 to $30. In an innovative move, DHgate has also introduced a compensation scheme offering US$2 coupons for delays in delivery of popular products from China, alongside free shipping to several countries including the US, France, and Spain on selected items.
To further sweeten the deal, DHgate has partnered with payment platforms like Klarna and Wire Transfer (T/T), offering additional discounts on orders, a move likely to incentivise and increase order values. Moreover, the introduction of the Pick Zone – featuring top merchandise selected by customers at discounted prices – is set to offer an eclectic mix of products, from fashion to electronics, adding to the sale’s allure.
