Recognizing the potential within this technological advancement, UMG has actively coordinated the industry’s response to AI while simultaneously working to reform the framework of streaming royalties. In this concerted effort to find artist-centric solutions, UMG has played a pivotal role in convening over 150 organizations for the Human Artistry Campaign (HAC). This coalition aimed to establish a responsible framework for the use of AI in creative endeavors, respecting copyrights and artist likenesses.
