Slated to start immediately, Benavides brings with him a wealth of experience and insight, having carved a commendable path in the world of revenue growth and customer engagement across the tech and data industry.

Stationed in New York and reporting directly to the CEO and Founder, Jonathan Cherki, Benavides is set to spearhead Contentsquare’s revenue-generating strategies and activities. His arrival comes at a pivotal time for the organisation, following its major acquisition of Heap, a leading Product Analytics Platform, in December 2023. This consolidation not only marked the company’s largest buy-out to date but also reinforced its status as a forerunner in the realm of digital experience and product analytics.

Benavides’s illustrious career spans over 25 years, during which he has nurtured a proven knack for leading elite sales teams and augmenting enterprises’ penetration into novel markets and sectors. Before stepping into his new role at Contentsquare, he effectively served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer, at Medallia, a notable software platform specializing in experience management. His ten-year tenure at Medallia was marked by notable achievements, including the significant scale-up of the sales organization and the vigorous expansion of the company into new industries.

His proven track record stands out, not merely for his ability to boost revenues but also for the depth of his engagement with global customers. Before Medallia, Benavides held prestigious positions at Oracle and Hitachi Data Systems, further refining his expertise in sales and customer relations within the tech sector.

Jonathan Cherki, the visionary founder & CEO of Contentsquare, expressed his enthusiasm about Benavides joining the team: “Gabe’s track record of success and proven ability to lead top-performing teams, coupled with his extensive background in the tech and data industry, make him the perfect addition to our team.” Cherki’s statement reflects the strategic importance of Benavides’s role in propelling Contentsquare through its next growth phase.

For his part, Benavides shared his optimism about the opportunities that lie ahead with Contentsquare. He notes, “Experience analytics and intelligence are here to stay, and I’m really looking forward to playing a key part in the acceleration.” His appointment comes as digital experience analytics continue to be crucial for businesses aiming to succeed in a data-driven era, underscoring the importance of understanding and optimising customer interactions across digital platforms.

Benavides’s extensive experience, combined with his fresh perspective and innovative approach, is anticipated to drive Contentsquare not only towards achieving its ambitious growth targets but also in reinforcing its position as a trailblazer in the digital experience analytics sector.

As Contentsquare forges ahead, the tech and business communities will undoubtedly watch with keen interest how this strategic appointment influences the company’s trajectory in the dynamic and competitive landscape of digital analytics.
